On Sensory-Friendly Days our new exhibitions and activity areas will be open extra early or late for a quieter experience and modified to suit people on the Autism spectrum and visitors with a range of differing abilities. Our trained staff and volunteers will be on hand to assist with access and facilitate creative activities. Sensory Friendly sessions also include exclusive before or after hours access to a museum vessel. From day trips and creative workshops to social adventures and community outings, every activity is supported by our TWCI mentors who focus on building confidence, developing social skills, and fostering genuine friendships. All costs are included, with options to bill through NDIS plans, self-funding, or external providers – making it easy for families to get involved.

Aimed at neurodiverse tweens & teens with ASD, ADHD or neurodiverse disabilities to make new friendships & socialise face to face once a week in a supportive group environment, covering relevant topics and having fun at the same time, forging friendships and getting out the house! Covering a vast array of relevant content in a relaxed social environment such as social media etiquette & safety, tik tok trends, Relationships & booundaries, craft activities, meeting people online v's in person
