ENGAGE VR ESPORT ACTIVE
E-Sport Interactive classes are small group classes, utilising Virtual Reality (VR) gaming, combined with exercise and social-emotional skill building. E-Sport can benefit teens and young adults living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who want to be more active in their lifestyle and want to socialise in a small group and have fun learning new skills. Classes are run by our multi-disciplinary team and feature a wide range of engaging activities.
Participants are screened by a physiotherapist and speech pathologist and key findings are incorporated into the class activities. E-Sport classes enhance social engagement and functioning whilst improving locomotor skills, muscle-strength, endurance and overall health and well-being. Our classes also support participants in promoting self-regulation and self-advocacy.
