Sue is the director of Choirs4Kids, a place that boosts children’s confidence and joy, through singing, whilst decreasing isolation, anxiety, fear and depression.

Sue founded Choirs4Kids in 2016 after realising that many children, including her daughter, were either too young to join their school choir, or the school didn’t have a choir.

She has over twenty years of experience leading choirs and has a unique ability to instill a love of singing in everyone she meets!

In early 2020, Sue moved Choirs4Kids online, and in doing so is now reaching young people all over the world. The weekly online sessions massively boost children’s confidence.

Sue excels in helping young people find their confidence through her absolute focus on each individual. She helps them realise their vocal potential, giving them the power to believe in their own voice.

On a personal level Sue loves to perform in local theatre groups and adult choirs. She has a Bachelor of Education in Music and Sport, ABRSM examinations in Piano, Violin & Flute.

Sue is a Qualified Vocal Health First Aider, has completed Levels 1 & 2 in Estill Voice Training and is an Embodima graduate. She is a registered teacher with a valid Working with Children Card and National Police Clearance.

Recently, Sue was inducted into The Hall Of Fame for Kids Industry Activity Providers. She took out 6 awards in total at The What’s On 4 Kids Awards, including Best Activity for Kids with Additional Needs, Best Activity for Kids Age 5 to 12, Best Coach/Teacher for Ages 5 to 12. She won both the Peoples’ Choice Awards and The Judges Awards!
