Week 4: Adventure and Discovery

MONDAY 27TH JANUARY:
Public Holiday— The centre is generally closed on public holidays, however if you
need support on this day, please let us know to arrange it.

TUESDAY 28TH JANUARY: MARITIME MUSEUM

Morning: Catch Public Transport to an excursion at the Maritime Museum. Visit
First Nations Exhibits and board real life sea vessels aboard Sydney Harbour.

Afternoon: Viewing stations set up at Rozelle with binoculars, magnifying glasses to
observe the nature and wildlife in the garden while having afternoon tea.

WEDNESDAY 29TH JANUARY: CAMPING ADVENTURES

Morning: Create a sweet camping set-up, complete with tents, and sleeping bags.

Afternoon: Play story telling games and simulate a campfire with LED candles.
Share camping treats like marshmallows and pretend like you are in a forest,
mountain or at the beach.

THURSDAY 30TH JANUARY: GIMME GAMES

Morning: Catch public transport for an excursion to Manhattan SuperBowl for 2
games of bowling in a unique, retro themed bowling alley.

Afternoon: Play Bowling inside the centre and other indoors games including
BINGO, UNO, Monopoly and Puzzles.

FRIDAY 31ST JANUARY: END OF PROGRAM PARTY

Morning: Explore the beautiful gardens and heritage building while you stroll along
the water’s edge at Callen Park in Rozelle.

Afternoon: End of Program Party with Sausage Sizzle and outdoor games in the
back garden. Family and Caregivers welcome to join. Please RSVP 🙂

Where: ZigZag Centre – 754 Darling Street, Rozelle

When: 9:30am-3:30pm
How to get there: Drop off and pickup services can be arranged
with us, with notice. Other options include: public transport via
bus or have your carer support you.

What to bring: A packed lunch or provisions to buy depending
on the outing for the day, a change of clothes, bottle of water,
hat, towel, companion card, communication items and any
personalised support requirements including medications.

What we need: Signed service agreement and corresponding
forms returned before start date. Ticked outing cost to be paid
when booking dates.

What we promise: Comprehensive and personalised staff
training on each individual before commencing services,
sun safe practises, good times
