Watercolour Wild Flowers Workshop

Art and craft and the act of absorbing yourself in learning something new is a form of meditation in itself, therapy even and so Little Lane Workshops is built upon that principle, slow mindful living… even if it is for only a few hours. We are very much about bringing community together - providing a place for teachers to teach, students to learn and friends - both new and old - to connect with each other.

Everything you need to know

Join artist Parika Mahajan and learn how to paint whimsical and colourful wildflowers in a loose watercolour style.

In the first 2 hours of the workshops, participants will learn the basic watercolour concepts and techniques including colour theory. They will learn to paint 10-11 common wildflowers including foliage which then can be used as the basis for creating beautiful wildflower compositions in the form of a wreath/bouquet/meadow, cards, gift tags, bookmarks etc.

In the last hour, the participants will be gently guided and encouraged to paint their own compositions.

The workshop is suitable for ages 12 and up with no experience necessary. All materials including nibbles and refreshments are provided.

Ironstone Hill is located in Jackass Flat just a short distance from Bendigo. One of our most popular programs at Ironstone Hill Farm is our NDIS funded Saturday program our program runs throughout the school term. We can also offer a range of 1:1 supports during the week for anyone wanting to spend time in nature, with animals in a safe, inclusive, fun environment. Located only 15 minutes from the centre of Bendigo, Ironstone Hill is set amongst 20 acres of beautiful ironbark forest. Ironstone Hill is a disability activity farm offering a range of activities for NDIS participants to suit all ages and all abilities.
