Everything you need to know
Nature Moves school holiday camps for autistic kids offer an unforgettable experience for children and a well-deserved break for parents and primary carers. Camps are 5 days full of fun, connection, fitness, exploring nature, building life skills, confidence, and independence. This is a steppingstone towards independence in adulthood. Camps are designed with Autism in mind, using visual aids, music, routines, and flexibility to support sensory sensitivity and encourage self-regulation.
The South East Queensland Camps are held on the Sunshine Coast at Boreen Point with daily excursions to nearby National Parks. Activities include tent camping, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, nature walks & gentle mountain climbs, exploring waterfalls, evening games, and marshmallows. Pick-up on Monday morning and drop-off on Friday afternoon from Brisbane and Sunshine Coast Metro areas. All equipment is provided, and no experience is necessary. Prices vary based on ratio and are funded by NDIS.
