Everything you need to know
Explore the process of Cyanotype printing with artist Eleanor Amiradaki and learn how to make stunning Indigo Botanical Prints.
Cyanotype is one of the oldest photographic processes which uses the natural light of the sun to expose light sensitive paper.
In this workshop you will learn to make exposures and develop prints using water and natural solutions. The beauty of this process is that it is so accessible and each print is absolutely unique.
Since each print is handmade, tones will give subtle variations ranging from light blue hues to deep indigos.
We will work with the beautiful fine art paper and explore various compositions using inspiration from nature to create stunning botanical mandalas.
Students will make between 4-6 prints and one to frame (frame provided)
This is an adult open age class but it suitable for ages 12+. Children under 14 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
No experience necessary. All materials including light refreshments will be provided.
When: Saturday 25th May 2024 10am – 1pm
Cost: $155
