FutureTech Saturday Programs at Seaforth

Dive into the exciting world of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) and social gaming at FutureTech’s autism-friendly Saturday programs! Designed to inspire curiosity, build skills, and foster friendships in a supportive and fun environment.

 

Program Details:

  • Ages 7–11: 10 AM – 1 PM (new group for 2025, dependent on numbers)
  • Ages 12–15: 10 AM – 1 PM
  • Ages 7–11: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM (waitlist only)
  • Ages 16+: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM
  • Mostly Girls* (all ages): 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM

 

🌟 What to Expect:

  • STEAM Learning: Hands-on workshops exploring science, technology, and creative projects.
  • Social Gaming: Connect with peers through collaborative games and activities.
  • Inclusive Environment: Autism-friendly, with mentors experienced in supporting neurodivergent participants.
  • Flexible Ratios: Support provided at a 1:3 ratio, with options for higher ratios if required.

 

📅 When: Saturdays (during school terms)
📍 Where: Seaforth Village Community Centre

 

Participants with plan or self-managed NDIS funding can use their plans to access FutureTech programs.

📖 Preparation Resources: A Visual Story is available to help participants prepare for their first session, and a Quiet Room is available for those needing a sensory break.
