Everything you need to know
Do you love history?
Want to create history?
Come to the event space underneath the Anzac Memorial in Hyde Park on Dec 1st from 3-5pm. Join actors, expert historians and neurodivergent history enthusiasts for some live story telling, LEGO building and hands on object exploration.
This neuroinclusive event for families will allow you to explore the incredible exhibition whilst listening to stories from the past. You will be able to build the future you would like to create in LEGO in the event space. 100s of kilograms of LEGO will be there to build structures with the support of lead facilitators and volunteers. Touch historical objects like uniforms, packs, survival equipment and ask as many questions as you like from experts.
There will be a live ceremonial performance to open the event by Queensland singer, Emma Tomlinson. You can free play through all the activities in your own time and do what works for you.
