Classical Music Club Brings the Community Together with Daytime Concert Series

Classical music lovers in the Town of Cambridge now have a new way to connect, with the Classical Music Clublaunching a monthly concert series aimed at bringing people together through the power of music.

Held at the Leederville Town Hall on the third Friday of each month at 10 AM (March–November 2025), these concerts provide an opportunity for community members to gather, enjoy world-class performances, and build friendships through a shared love of music. With a growing group of regular attendees, the Classical Music Club offers more than just concerts—it fosters a sense of belonging and something to look forward to each month.

The Classical Music Club is committed to making music accessible to all, particularly those who may face physical or financial barriers. Thanks to fundraising efforts by WA Classical Music ConnectHermit Arts and support from the Town of Cambridge, ticket prices are heavily subsidized to ensure affordability.

  • Full Price: $20
  • Concession: $15
  • Companion Card Holders: $10
  • Carers of Companion Card Holders: Free

We listened to what the community wanted in a concert series, and we are doing our best to deliver,” says Music Director Rebecca Guy. “By holding concerts during the day, we ensure that people who are uncomfortable going out at night can still enjoy live classical music. Plus, with our venue so close to Leederville and West Leederville train stations and bus routes along Cambridge Street, there’s no need to drive.

Each concert will feature some of Perth’s leading classical musicians, performing at an outstanding standard for a fraction of the usual cost. The series aims to make high-quality live music an accessible and enriching experience for everyone in the community.

Join us on this extraordinary journey, where music becomes the bridge that connects hearts and minds, forging bonds that transcend time and space.
