Gold Foundation runs several social groups designed to foster social development in a relaxed and fun environment, where our young autistic people can be social together, forge lasting friendships, develop social skills and connect with others their age.

Everything you need to know

Cadets is an activity-based social group designed to help young people on the Autism Spectrum aged 8-12 develop friendships and improve their social well-being! Through conversations and activities, participants have the opportunity to improve their confidence and build their social skills in a safe and fun environment.

Each week features a different structured activity led by our skilled Facilitators, with opportunities for unstructured play and activities.

Games and activities include:arts and crafts; board games; team-based activities; sports and outdoor activities; lego; role playing games, and much more!

Cost

– 32-week full program membership (Feb-Nov 2023): $580
– Casual visit: $25 per session
